Paula Kohlmann works as a curator and dramaturg. In 2012, she co-founded the project space LOTTE, and since then has realized projects for institutions such as Akademie Schloss Solitude (Soft Power Palace, 2018), Kunstverein Wagenhalle (Container Open, 2017), and Theater Rampe (including Stadt der Frauen, 2018 and Volkstheater Rampe, since 2020). Since 2021, she has been organizing public readings as part of the poetic research and reading group “Dreaming in Women*.” Her practice takes place both within institutions and in the independent arts scene—as well as in the spaces in between—always with the aim of collaboratively questioning conventional structures of the art world and creating public, accessible spaces together with artists and communities.
