Marenka Krasomil

Marenka Krasomil is a curator and cultural scholar based in Berlin and Barcelona. Her curatorial practice moves between experimental, transdisciplinary, and collaborative approaches. Since 2024, she has been part of the curatorial team of CURRENT and, since 2020, of Kunst im Untergrund at nGbK Berlin. In 2023, she was a fellow of the International Curatorial Residency Program at Sant Andreu Contemporani in Barcelona and completed a residency at Casa Planas in Mallorca. Recent projects include Actors in the Discourse of Places (Espai Souvenir, Barcelona, 2024), Nature Is Ancient, But Surprises Us All (Centrum Berlin, 2023), CARPARK (Dragonerareal, Berlin, 2023), and New Urban Publics (nGbK Berlin, 2023). From 2018 to 2023, she was the curatorial director at feldfünf e.V., and previously assistant curator at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein. She studied Curatorial Studies at Städelschule in Frankfurt and the Royal College of Art in London, and completed the Commissioning and Curating Contemporary Public Art program at the Valand Academy in Gothenburg.
